Birthday Celebration, Two New Series, and A Giveaway!

I have so much news to share!

Thank you all so much for supporting the series, and I’m so happy everyone loved this last book. I read every single review and email and Facebook comment. You’ve all truly touched my heart.

Today, though, I want to talk about my totally, brand-spanking new projects for 2013! I will be starting TWO new series this year. In fact, I’ve already been working on the first books in each of these series, and I really hope you’re going to be excited about both of them.

One book is still a super secret. Actually, it will probably be my first release in 2013, but I’m not quite ready to share much right now. In fact, I think it deserves its own announcement, so stay tuned. I hope to be finished with the rough draft soon, and once that’s finished, I’ll make the big announcement and reveal the cover here on my blog!

The second series I’m working on right now is my zombie apocalypse story. And let me tell you, this isn’t just the same old zombie novel you’ve read a million times! The source of this zombie plague is magic-based. (Got to have witches, right?) Also, I’ll be following the point-of-view of more than six different characters. I love the idea of exploring what each person is going through as the world comes to an end.

The zombie/witches series is going to be called the Eternal Sorrows series (named after one of the main characters, Parrish Sorrows). This series is extremely close to my heart because I’ve been dreaming about telling this story for so long. If you loved the magic and the butt-kicking of the Demons series with that undertone of romance, I know you’re going to love this series too.

As many of you saw on Facebook last week, I was asking for help deciding between PANDEMIC and PESTILENCE as the title for book 1 in this series. I got a lot of great responses, but people seemed to be torn between the two – or not liking either one at all. To be honest, neither of those titles ever felt totally right to me either. Pandemic sounds like a zombie book, but there isn’t really any hint of magic in that title. Pestilence has a Biblical element which could be cool, but a lot of people don’t really connect with that word.

Instead, I started brainstorming again and came up with a title I think is perfect! It has several meanings, which you’ll begin to see once you read the book. So here it is! My new title of the first book in the upcoming Eternal Sorrows series:

I can’t wait to show you the rest of this cover, because OMG, it’s unreal. She did such an unbelievable job. I’ll be revealing the rest of the cover in just a few weeks.

There are so many exciting new books coming in 2013 and 2014. Next week, I hope to be able to give more info on my secret project and in February, I’ll reveal the unreal cover for Death’s Awakening.

Oh, and did I mention it’s my BIRTHDAY WEEK??!?

Yes, I get a whole week. Ha! Just like every girl should :P. Wednesday, January 23rd is my bday and I want to celebrate by giving away a couple more Peachville High School tshirts and swag packs!!!!

And this time I’m going to open the contest up to International entries!ย Yay! This contest will close to new entries at noon on Friday and 5 Winners will be chosen and announced here and through email on Friday afternoon.
