Mistake in The Fear of Letting Go

We are all human and make mistakes, right? Sadly, I have made a mistake in The Fear of Letting Go. Here’s what happened. I realized at the last minute that I had called Knox’s bar Ray’s through out the book, instead of Rob’s. I quickly did a search and replace to change Ray to Rob.

What this did, sadly, was also change words like pray to pRob. Tray to tRob. I should have done a quick spell check at the end, but just wasn’t thinking.

Thank you to my readers who very nicely let me know about the error instead of leaving a bad review. I have never made an error like this before, and it’s making me completely sick to my stomach. I’m so sorry to all who have read and found this distracting. My husband is fixing the formatting now, but it will take a little while for me to re-upload and for the stores to post the corrected version. If you haven’t read yet , but have already downloaded the book, you should be able to delete it from your device and download it again in about an hour to fix the issue. If not, email me at sarra @ sarracannon.com and I will send you a corrected version.

All I can do is apologize and beg you to overlook the error! Thanks for being understanding. It’s so disappointing because I did pour my heart into this book and wanted it to be perfect.

  1. hey we all make mistakes… at least yours is like this one time thing… for me every time I write I have a really bad habit of mixing up homophones… like they’re their there… bear bare… to too… I don’t know why in some instances it almost makes sense but lots of times is like my brain automatically spells the wrong word just to mess with me… it’s very frustrating because since they sound alike and I know what I mean I have trouble noticing them when I double check my work…

  2. you are such a great author that its easy for your readers to get passed it and see it for what it is. no worries here keep writing you rock
