Day 4: Watch Party | Spooktacular 2023

Day 3 was so much fun! Yesterday, we enjoyed a Halloween vlog and ate some tasty cupcakes! I’m loving seeing the cupcake photos in the Coven, so keep them coming if you decide to make cupcakes (or any other yummy treats!).

Today is all about hanging out and watching a movie together! Keep reading to find out more details on how to join today’s Watch Party and enter the daily giveaway.

WELCOME TO DAY 4!

TODAY’S WATCH PARTY INFORMATION

After spending LOTS of time trying to choose something that’s available to the majority of our Coven Fam, I finally decided on watching the first two episodes of season one of Wednesday on Netflix. This is taking place via Teleparty at 3pm EST. I’ve included a popcorn recipe as today’s party favor (check it out at the bottom of the post), perfect for those who want a sweet and salty snack while we hang out.

Teleparty is a program that synchroniizes video playback on Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Hulu and HBO Max between many devices. You’ll need to install the Teleparty extension on your browser before starting (compatible with Chrome and Edge browsers).

Click the “Install Teleparty” button at https://teleparty.com. This will install an extension to your browser that will allow you to use the program (you should see a TP button next to your address bar – if it’s not there, click the small icon that looks like a puzzle piece and you can choose the TP extension from there and pin it to the top).

Once installed, click on the button below to join, then click on the TP button next to your address bar and you should automatically join the party! There will also be a live chat feature to the right of the movie. I’ll be there about 15 minutes before the movie starts, so feel free to join me. It IS a party, after all! It’s going to be so much fun!

(Still confused on how to join? Watch this quick tutorial from last year where I walk you through it! It’s super easy. Just grab the teleparty chrome or edge extension from their website above, so that it’s an extension in your browser. Then click the link below here that says “Join the Watch Party”. It will then prompt you to log in to your own Netflix account and join the party. If you can see the movie but not the chat, click on the red TP teleparty extension logo in your browser tray. Remember, you will need to have your own Netflix subscription and be logged in on your browser to watch with us.)

If, for some reason, the link doesn’t work, stay patient! I’ll post an update here on the blog, Discord, and the Facebook group if we run into any issues. Sometimes the Teleparty links expire if a browser gets closed, so stay calm and check back here for a message if the link says there’s no party going. Remember that you’ll need to have the Teleparty extension installed and be logged into your own Netflix account for it to work properly. I’ll start things up a few minutes before so we can get settled!

  1. Wednesday parry is going to be so much fun!! The caramel popcorn looks delicious, great party favor!

  2. I’ve only read the first book so far but I’m dying to read the rest. They’re not my usual kind of read (I lean more to things with a fantasy edge) but I really enjoyed The Trouble With Goodbye, and want to read more. I’d have to say either Leigh Anne or Knox. I really think they had such a. Sweet relationship ship. I got so many feels when they were out at his old shack place and they were swimming.
It’s funny because my bosses middle and last names are Leigh and Davis.

  3. I honestly love Leigh Ann! I think she’s complicated but genuine. I just started reading this series (through Google books) this year and while I’ve never been huge on Romance, I’m really loving this series!

  4. I don’t have a favorite character yet because I haven’t started the series yet. I have the first book though.

  5. That popcorn recipe looks delish! I haven’t read the Fairhope series yet, but it’s on my TBR. But let’s say Knox is my fave because I’m a sucker for a hottie with a heart of gold and a past. See you at the watch party!

  6. Love that popcorn recipe!

  10. I have never read the Fairhope series! Thank you for the free download of the ebook today! What you read in your dialogue video really got me intrigued. Can’t wait to dive in after I read Deaths Awaken.

  11. I loved The Trouble with Goodbye. I have two favorite characters Leigh Anne and Knox. I only read the first book because I got hooked on Shadow Demon Saga. 19. Make sure you stir the popcorn every 15 minutes. It’s so important to how it turns out! And it’s delicious! (Obviously change margarine for butter!!;)

  20. This is on my TBR list however I want to read book 4 so badly. I feel just from the description that I relate to Jenna in a couple of ways. Especially in the way of wanting to disappear.

  21. This is on my tbr list because I am in love with everything you write. Out of all of them I am looking forward to reading book 4 the most because I feel like I relate to Jenna. I too understand the feeling of just wanting to be able to disappear and honestly get a fresh start at life.

  22. Oooooo, I can’t wait to read these and will send positive energy for winning the full series. 😉
