  • A Good Book When it’s Cold

      There is just something about snuggling up with a good romance novel when it’s getting cold outside. In the name of research, I went to a bookstore and picked out a couple of Harlequin’s latest romance titles. The first one I decided to read is “Snowbound” by Janice Kay Johnson. Sure, it’s light reading, but isn’t that a good thing when it comes to leisure time?   • Perseverance

    I have been thinking about perseverance a lot lately. I watch my boyfriend and this is something he seems to have down pat. He seems to see very clearly that if you just put a little bit into something every day, it will slowly but surely start to move in the right direction. I would guess that also makes him a patient person. As for me, I am not naturally patient when it comes to most things. (Although, strangely, I was a very patient teacher, but that’s another story.)
