Halfway :)

After a very productive weekend, I have made it just past halfway on the final edits for Demons Forever! I was really hoping to have the book out by Thanksgiving, but unfortunately family duty calls and I won’t be able to work on the book as much in the next week. We’ll be driving to Georgia to visit my family, and even though I might sneak in some time here or there to work on the book, by and large it will be family time.

I’m excited about how much I got done this weekend, though, and am very happy with how the book is going. I might have even gotten a little teary-eyed a couple of times reading through some things and thinking about how far Harper has come since Book 1.

I will leave the word meter up on the home page of my website so that everyone can still follow along with my progress. Once the meter is full, that means my final edits are complete. After that, I’ll announce a new official release date! We’re more than halfway there now, though, so it won’t be long! Bad timing with the holiday coming up and interrupting things, but at least it’s getting done and I can really feel good about the book.

More giveaways coming up too! I’ll be giving away more than 30 t-shirts and a TON of the swag packs with bookmarks, ribbons, etc. Stay tuned! The giveaways will begin the day I announce a new release date!

  3. I’m so excited for the last book! I let my sister borrow my Kindle and she read all 5 books in three days! She’s definitely hooked. While waiting is proving to be difficult (as I’m sure it is for many), I’m glad that you’re taking your time and making sure that you’re pleased with the ending to Harper’s story. Being a writer myself, I know it is impossible to publish work that you are not content with. Have a great holiday with your family!

  4. As reluctantly as I can (since I really want to read this book!) I have to say that taking a break from the editing due to family obligations … Well, family does always take precedence!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope that you and your family have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving!! My daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter are all in Augusta, Georgia so I just have to ask (if you are willing to answer), are you going to be in Georgia anywhere near there? I have no idea where, or how, things are in Georgia since I’m in California. ๐Ÿ™

I can’t wait for this book to be finished and available!!! I have been on pins and needles waiting for this book to come out!!! LOL! ๐Ÿ™‚ I know, though, that it will be good no matter what!!! Thank you Sarra!!

    Have a wonderful holiday!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. As much as I am wanting to read this book and am waiting on the edge of my seat for the release date I have to say I agree that family should come first. Enjoy your Thanksgiving with your family! We’ll still be here when you get back to the editing and can finally tell us when it will be coming out.
