Brief Update and Demons Forever Sneak Peek!

If you’ve been watching my word meter, you’ll know I haven’t had a chance to work on Demons Forever since I got home from Georgia last week. Unfortunately, the baby and I have both been very sick. He seems to be feeling much better, thank goodness, but I seem to be getting worse. I’m off to the doctor this afternoon to find out if it’s some kind of infection or virus. This is the danger of going to family events with 60 people! It turns out several people ended up with the flu, so I’m praying that’s not what I have. I feel like I’m always giving excuses, but I promise that I’m always speaking from the heart and with complete honesty and openness. There isn’t a day that goes by when I don’t think about the book and feel bad that my fans have been waiting so long.

That being said, I am going to start working on the edits again tonight no matter what. I know many of you have been waiting patiently for this book. You have all been so incredibly supportive, and I can’t tell you how much that means to me. I am going to do everything in my power to get the book to you soon!

Just as a special treat, I thought I would go ahead and reveal the description for DEMONS FOREVER! I’m still possibly tweaking it, so this might not be the final version, but it’s close enough to share.

Demons Forever Sarra CannonHarper has come so far from her life as a foster child. She never imagined what her future would hold when she was first brought to the small town of Peachville. Since that day she’s faced great evil, found some of the answers she’s been looking for, and fallen deeply, madly in love. But her biggest challenge and her greatest lessons are still ahead of her.

Despite living in the safety of her father’s castle in the shadow world, Harper knows there is a storm brewing just beyond the dome. Priestess Winter will never rest until she gets the Order’s blue ring back, and Jackson won’t let her forget they now hold the key to Aerden’s future.

When an unexpected visitor from Peachville arrives at the castle, bleeding and near death, his story brings Harper to her knees. Someone she loves has been kidnapped and it’s time for her to make a choice. Stay in the safety of the domed city? Or go back to the place where it all began?

I hope this gives you a little teaser and some insight into what this final book is all about. Remember, if you want to follow my progress, you can go to my home page here on my website and see the word meter as it inches forward. Once it’s full, I’ll announce a final release date. Until then, I’ll be working hard and updating as I go.

  6. Sara–don’t try to write when you’re sick. You won’t be happy later with the results. Take notes for ideas, think about the book, write in a journal, but don’t try to finalize the book until you’re well. We can wait. Feel better soon.

  19. How much longer ? I am ready to totally ready to just give up on this series. And I am sure I’m not the only one. I will not buy another one wrote by you. Enough is enough

    1. Actually, as you can see from the other comments above and throughout her blog, you ARE the only one. The rest of us support her fully as she does have to take care of herself and her family as well as try to make a living. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

    2. Sharon you do not speak for the majority please do not put us in the same box. Sarra don’t let mental midgits get you down all of us support you and understand that health and family come first. If people want to be haters let them, read the comments and understand that there is always haters but for every hater there is 10 or more of us who understand and luv the series so we can wait. Have a fantabulous day and know we have your back.

  20. It stinks to wait yes, but the book is worth it and if you really did like the series, you would. Take your time Sarra. Don’t let impatient people get you down. You working hard every night is for our benefit and those who really do want the best for Harper’s story, thank you for everything you do.

  21. I’m quite happy to read it when it’s ready!! I loved/love the series. I’d rather have it done properly and wait and know that Sarra and her family are in good health than have it rushed because someone is too impatient and has no understanding of real life.
Take your time Sarra, there are plenty of people willing to wait and know that you and yours are well!!
    Sara (UK) 🙂

  22. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo desperate to read that book but I really do think you need to get better and not put too much pressure on yourself to finish this book, just take your time and we will always stand by you.

  23. Some of the most important things in life are health and family. I think it’s awesome that you have your priorities in order! Definitely looking forward to book 6, but it will certainly be worth the wait! Bright side: I’ve been able to go back and read books 1-5 again, just as a refresher! Hope you and your family are on the mend!

  24. Thank you to all those of you who have written such encouraging and supportive messages. It means the world to me!
