Netflix Watch Party! (Spooktacular Day 6)

Woohoo, welcome back to another day as our Spooktacular Halloween Party continues! There will be 13 days of fun events, giveaways, and surprises. I hope you’re having fun so far!

Today, we’ll be doing a Netflix Watch Party, and I can’t wait!

After doing a few polls in the Coven (My facebook fan group, come join us!), we have decided to watch the movie “Rebecca” on Netflix.

This is a 2 hour romantic mystery (PG-13) on Netflix.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS AND WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IF YOU PLAN TO JOIN!

In order to watch, you must have 4 things:

1. Your own subscription to Netflix.
2. Be watching on a laptop or desktop! this won’t work on phones or tablet, sorry.
3. Chrome browser. This is free to install if you don’t have it. Just google “Install Chrome browser” and you can find it easily.
4. The Netflix / Teleparty Chrome extension. Also free! When you install it, it will put a little red “TP” button on the right upper side of your chrome search bar. Install it free here: https://www.netflixparty.com/

Once you have all of that set up, you’ll be almost ready to go!

A few minutes before 2PM, you can sign into Netflix in your chrome browser on your laptop or desktop computer and then click my invite link below! Voila! We’ll be watching the movie as a group with a chance to chat on the side about what we think, etc. (Remember no spoilers if you’ve seen this or read the book!!!)

NOTE: There is a limit of 50 people allowed in one party, I believe. If we hit the limit and you can’t get in, I think the best solution is to have someone else who will volunteer to run a second party! If we get to that limit, I’ll ask for a volunteer, and that person will get a free signed copy of The Witch’s Key from me!

After the movie is over, I’ll also post a “After The Party” post in the Coven for anyone who couldn’t attend but wants to watch the movie on their own, start a new watch party and post their link here later, or just wants to discuss the movie that we watched!

If this is fun, we’ll do it again maybe next weekend and watch Hubie Halloween since that got the second most votes!

(I’d love to watch something scarier with our Horror fans, later, too!! Eeek!)
