Sharing my Tarot Decks! (Spooktacular Day 3)

Today is Day 3 of the Spooktacular and it’s going to be a fun day!

Have you ever had a Tarot card reading? Or do you have a deck of your own?

I have always been interested in Tarot cards, but I honestly had no idea how to start learning about them. About 15 years ago, a friend who had several decks gifted me one of his, but I felt overwhelmed when I looked at them, believing that I needed to memorize all of the cards in order to be able to use them.

It wasn’t until about 5 years ago that I was drawn back into a more serious tarot journey. With the right teacher and guide, I finally understood how to use them and what I could learn about myself through reading them each day.

Now, I use my Tarot cards every single day, and I have many decks that I love!

Today on YouTube, for Day 3 of our Spooktacular Halloweeen Party, I’ll be showing all of my decks, telling my tarot story, and doing a live reading!! Join me at 4PM EST LIVE today on my YouTube Channel!

  1. I have never had a reading but have always been interested. I suppose one day I will gain the confidence to do some exploring

    1. I haven’t done a reading either. I’ve always been intrigued! I don’t personally know anyone with a deck and I would have to literally travel hours to get a reading done. Maybe one day I will gain some confidence too.

    2. I have had readings. Itโ€™s interesting to see what others get when reading me versus reading for myself!

  2. I have become interested lately. Readings sound so fun and I also heard that tarot is fun for writing a story.

  3. I’ve never had a reading but would love one. I’ve done the single card pull to answer questions but nothing more complex.

  4. I’ve never had a reading or own a deck, but I’ve been fascinated with the idea of them for years (it’s hard to shake things that I was raised to believe are “evil” but still feel drawn to) I can’t wait for today’s episode.

  5. i have had many readings over the years, but never owned a deck of my own, the golden tarot deck is beautiful.

  6. No, I haven’t but would love to! I did own a deck and was trying to learn before my house burned down. Maybe it’s related? lol

  7. I love love love that youโ€™re doing this. You continue to inspire me on a regular. Thank you, Sarra, for being such a beautiful inspiration.

  8. I’ve had a reading done and was left very disappointed. I’ve tried doing a reading on myself but was very much like you that I thought I had to memorize the cards. I hope to sit down soon and learn more.

  9. I’m really excited for this event, for some reason I’m just not in a Halloween spirit this year. Hopefully this can lift my spirits!

  10. I’ve never had a real reading, but I love watching Liz’s pick-a-card readings on Charmed Intuition Tarot’s channel. I would love to have my own deck.

  11. I use a really old Rider Waite deck, but some of the cards are difficult to interpret. Inspired by one of your videos last week I did a three card draw and pulled The Wheel of Fortune, Justice and The world….not a bad draw!!!

  12. This is so awesome! I don’t think I have ever seen this deck in person. I can’t wait for this afternoon! I love me some tarot cards! I can’t wait to see yours! And watch your reading!

  13. I have never had a reading and don’t own any. Looking forward
for today to learn more about them.

  14. This is so awesome of you to do this with us. You are so amazing Sarra. Not only do we love your books, but we love you. You have inspired me to get into tarot reading daily. I just have to learn how.

  15. I’ve never had a reading done for me, but I own a few tarot and oracle decks and enjoy reading them for myself.

  16. I am not sure that I would count it as a real reading. I had one done at a Ren Fest one year but the lady who did it was giving almost the exact same answers to everyone who sat at her table.

  17. I’ve never had a reading done but it would be so cool to have one done! I’ve recently gotten into tarrot mostly because of you.

  18. I never had a tarot reading done for me, but I’ve always been fascinated by tarots and crystals and oracle cards in general

  19. I’ve actually never had a reading done. I do own a deck that I bought when I was much younger. I haven’t used it in a long time, but it is something that I’m going to start doing again.

  20. I have had readings done for me. It’s like a new set of eyes on the existing situation. I’ve also done readings for family, friends, and clients at a salon where I used to work.

  21. I’ve never had a tarot reading done for me but I do have the kawaii deck and like to do my own readings

  22. I actually have 2 decks. I am a novice at using them. You have given me courage to learn more about them. My daughter became interested in tarot enough to have her own deck. She does readings for her friends all of the time.

  23. Yea I have. One of my old best friends was really into it and wanted to learn so I was her Guinea pig so she could practice and while I was skeptical at first it kind of started to grow on me and now I really want to learn.

  24. I had a reading done once. It was interesting, but Iโ€™ve had more luck reading for myself. For me Tarot is a symbolic journey of personal development. Love to your adorable Evie! โค๏ธ

  25. I havenโ€™t had one done for me but Iโ€™ve given them. I currently RP in FFXIV as a (somewhat awful) tarot reader using the astrologian cards. Itโ€™s been a super fun experience.

  26. I’ve had a few tarot readings done, most by my brother. I got him into tarot and witchy stuff and now he’s more of a tarot reader than I am! I absolutely love tarot as a form of divination.

  27. As a therapist, I use tarot in my sessions. But only if they ask for it. The results have been amazing!

  28. Yes a long time ago. It was a fun experience, but I use tarot privately now. I pull out a card as a guide for personal journal entries.

  29. Yes I’ve had tarot and a angel card reading my friend done the reading for me and she was really spot on and I’ve seen her do it for another friend of mine who she’s never met and she got his reading spot on too.

  30. Iโ€™ve had one tarot reading done for me last year… didnโ€™t feel entirely authentic and the reader gave me a weird vibe. Iโ€™d love to try again with the right person. I just recently started learning and did a reading for myself on the waites deck.

  31. You’re making me want to get out my old deck again. It’s been so long since I’ve done a set. I think it may be time to consider this part of my life again.

I’ve been working on creating subliminal messages with positive affirmations for writers and other creatives so I’m slowly getting back into the things that fill my “spiritual well.”

Thank you for always sharing – I know it’s not always easy, but know you are appreciated and the happiness you bring to others is important.

  32. I’ve only had a couple of readings … but I love reading cards!
I have an Oracle set The Wisdom of Avalon which are gorgeous, very luxurious, lots of purple colours, the pictures on the cards are amazing and the edges are gold foiled.
I know what you mean Sarra, when you say certain cards appear time after time; there are a few I have drawn more times than I can remember! Clearly I’ve not learned the lessons I need to. I’ve had this deck for years and even now there are so many of them I’ve never drawn.
Thanks for a fabulous Spooktacular – this is a gorgeous website.

  33. I’ve only ever had one professional reading done for me. It was pretty spot on. Since I do my own now, I usually don’t have others read for me. I am teaching my children though, so I let them read for me sometimes as they are learning.
