Happy Halloween!!!! I can’t believe it’s the final day of our Spooktacular Celebration, but I have had such a wonderful time hanging out with you all for the past two weeks. I feel like this has been our best Spooktacular ever.

My favorite tarot decks, if you want to get your own. These, in my opinion, are good starter decks with good imagery that make it clear what the cards mean.

There are so many more, but like I said, if you’re just starting out, I think it’s a great idea to seek out a deck that has clear, easy to read imagery that is more traditional to the tarot. For example, I have a super cute Kawaii Tarot deck, but each card is just a piece of candy. There’s no imagery to really indicate the true meaning of the card. Look for something with more traditional imagery as a beginner. Any one of the decks above is a great starter deck.

  2. I had always been interested in tarot and your video with Tonya convinced me to get my first deck which is the gorgeous Light Seers deck! I’ve been doing more research and really feel connected the loser comfortable I get with my readings and messages.

  13. I have the Light Seer’s tarot deck and love the “lighter side” or point of view this creator had for the deck. I love the mini mantras or phrases you can to meditate on.

  20. I’m still not used to tarot and have no actual tarot decks. I have an oracle deck but tried to use it a few times and didn’t feel a connection to it yet so I put it away for the time being. I’m going to cleanse it properly and try again someday.

    My favorite decks are the Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot and the Herbcrafter’s Tarot. I also have a beautiful round deck called the Tarot of The Cloisters.

  31. The one I’ve been working with, for awhile now, is The Light Seer’s deck. I also enjoy Tarot of Mystical Moments art.

  32. My favorite tarot deck is the Gilded Tarot deck by Ciro Marchetti. I love the lush, luxurious imagery that is still very reminiscent of the Rider-Waite tarot deck. I’d love to try the Light Seer’s tarot deck, though. That looks beautiful! I’ve also been considering the Hocus Pocus tarot deck. I think that would be fun! Lol!

  41. I love the Lightseers Tarot! It’s one of my preferred decks for people who want a more traditional experience but are open to decks outside of the RWS.

    The Everyday Witch Tarot has been on my wish list for AGES, but I still haven’t gotten it. It’s so cute, though.

  42. I have this amazing set of cards that are a color-your-own, that way you can infuse your own energy and intentions into them. The makers went out of business, but there are many online. It took me 5 years to fully color mine, but they turned out awesome.

  45. I have a Chakra Wisdom Tarot deck. Each card also aligns with different chakras, and the little book that comes with it provides different contemplations and meditations.

  49. I started out with the Egyptian Tarot by Llewellyn, but my collection has grown since then. My favorite is the Llewellyn Tarot by BY ANNA-MARIE FERGUSON. It’s got beautiful Welsh Mythological themed art. 🙂

    Lately, I’ve been using the Galaxy Tarot app. They have a “card a day” feature on my phone each morning that has been surprisingly accurate.

  51. My favorite decks are the Somnia Tarot and Darkness of Light tarot, beautiful imagery and they are a dream to shuffle. They’re both solid RWS decks, so easy to read too.

  63. The deck I own is a mini steampunk themed set. The art is absolutely gorgeous. I can just spent a long while looking at the pictures.

  64. I was re-introduced to tarot by you! I was interested as a kid, but “got scared and through it away” lol not really understanding it. I have two decks, my favorite is the Tarot of the Golden Wheel… it called to me in the store and it’s me all the way… beautiful sunflowers, a card that has the Phoenix (my business logo is a Phoenix)… The other I have is the Rider Waite. Tarot has changed my life and been a helpful tool for me.

  65. My favourite tarot deck is the witches tarot! Although, to be honest, I’ve not actually used any others. It’s just the deck which came into my life when I needed it. I’ve always been interested in getting the rider waite deck so I might look into grabbing that in future 🙂

  66. The Light Seers Tarot is such a gorgeous deck and I’ve been thinking about picking up a copy for a while now.

    My favourite deck is still quite new to me. The Spacious Deck is a deck without people in it, but has landscapes, objects and animals. I find it very restful.

    It has been wonderful scrolling through the comments and seeing all the other decks people like.

  71. I have been getting some beautiful bookish themed tarot cards with my fairyloot subscription. The only problem is you only get 2 a month so will take a while to get a full collection.

  73. The beautiful Santa Muerte tarot is my favorite deck. I pull random cards now and then, but i don’t consider it an actual reading 🙂
