Coming Next: Netflix Teleparty! 🍿👻

Tomorrow, we’re getting together for a Netflix Teleparty! Grab your favorite snacks, get cozy, and join me for a movie or show with our Spooktacular community.

We’ll watch together while chatting in real time, so we can share our reactions, theories, and favorite moments along the way. The title we’ll be watching is still to be announced, so check back here for the latest details!

How to Join the Netflix Teleparty

Teleparty is a program that synchronizes video playback on Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Hulu and HBO Max between many devices. You’ll need to install the Teleparty extension on your browser before starting (compatible with Chrome and Edge browsers).

  • Click the “Install Teleparty” button at https://teleparty.com. This will install an extension to your browser that will allow you to use the program (you should see a TP button next to your address bar – if it’s not there, click the small icon that looks like a puzzle piece and you can choose the TP extension from there and pin it to the top).
  • Once installed, click on the button below to join, then click on the TP button next to your address bar and you should automatically join the party! There will also be a live chat feature to the right of the movie. I’ll be there about 15 minutes before the movie starts, so feel free to join me. It IS a party, after all! It’s going to be so much fun!
  • (Still confused on how to join? Watch this quick tutorial from last year where I walk you through it! It’s super easy. Just grab the teleparty chrome or edge extension from their website above, so that it’s an extension in your browser. Then click the link below here that says “Join the Watch Party”. It will then prompt you to log in to your own Netflix account and join the party. If you can see the movie but not the chat, click on the red TP teleparty extension logo in your browser tray. Remember, you will need to have your own Netflix subscription and be logged in on your browser to watch with us.)
  • If, for some reason, the link doesn’t work, stay patient! I’ll post an update here on the blog, Discord, and the Facebook group if we run into any issues. Sometimes the Teleparty links expire if a browser gets closed, so stay calm and check back here for a message if the link says there’s no party going. Remember that you’ll need to have the Teleparty extension installed and be logged into your own Netflix account for it to work properly. I’ll start things up a few minutes before so we can get settled!

I can’t wait to hang out with you all tomorrow! Until then, enjoy today’s coffee chat, enter the giveaway, and don’t forget to hunt for that hidden word. The veil is thin, and there’s always a little more magic waiting just beyond it. 🖤✨

  1. My most memorable book of this year Threshing Day by Rebecca Yarros. It’s the most recent plus I love this series. I can’t rule out of A Mirror of Shadows though bc Sarra always leaves her book endings open and I need to know what’s next!

  2. I am probably going to have to leave that spot open for a Court of Splintered Harmony! Just like the Shadow Demons Saga, I am so excited to dive back into that world!

  3. I haven’t been able to read a lot this year. I just finished The Witches of Cambridge and Falling Slowly. So more recent reads than the most memorable read.

  4. So far, the most memorable book was my reread of Uprooted by Naomi Novik. I loved it when I first read it a couple years ago and I recently decided to pick it up again. There’s a very good chance it’ll get knocked out of first place by A Court of Splintered Harmony by the end of the month, though.

  5. Hi, Sarra! Happy Friday!
    My most memorable read this year was “The Gods Lie”, a manga by Kaori Ozaki <3
    See you in today's Coffee Chat :}

  6. The idea of winning a special edition AMOS makes me giddy. I love the cover already, so I can’t wait to see what the special edition looks like. As far as books? Recent books have been Threshing Day and I’m in the middle of The Sixth Faction. I loved Threshing Day, and I am enjoying The Sixth Faction so far.

  7. I have read a lot of books this year, mostly audiobooks but I think I like Rebecca Yaros and Jennifer Armentrout as authors. Fourth Wing series and Blood and Ash series are my two favorites. I also liked Mirror of Shadows and bought the ebook. Waiting to buy the special edition.

  8. Probably The Once and Future Witches because it inspired me to learn about the history of women’s voting rights.
