THE SHADOW GAMES. Book 1: A Mirror of Shadows Coming soon I am so excited to officially announce The Shadow Games! This is a new story set in the same world of the Shadow Demons Saga. This story takes place before Harper gets to Peachville, and while it can stand alone from The Shadow Demons Saga, it will be filled with easter eggs and fun crossover (similar to Sacrifice Me) that will deepen your understanding of the world. Q: Why am I writing this instead of Book 12 of the SDS? I'm sure this will be a question many of you have, so I'm addressing it here. The long break between Books 11 and 12 was never intentional. I was going through so much turmoil in my personal life back when I was writing and releasing Book 11, and I struggled intensely with burnout and a lack of creativity for a while. It has taken years for me to get back to a place where I'm fully ready to finish the series and put the work and passion into it that a story this long demands. I'm already about 45,000 words into SDS Book 12, and I'll be writing that simultaneously to releasing The Shadow Games. At this point, if you're still here and waiting for Book 12, you're a true fan, and it means more to me than I can express. I promise it's going to be worth it and that this new series will tie so beautifully into that last book, you're going to LOVE it. Q: How will this book be released? I'll be releasing The Shadow Games in a new way! I'm going to be reading it chapter-by-chapter over on YouTube, Twitch, and Spotify. As soon as the full book is finished, then it will be released as an ebook. I'm anticipating 3-5 books in this series and that most of them (if not all) will be out this year in 2025. Special edition hardcover omnibus will be released as soon as the series is complete. Q: When is the series starting? As soon as I finish the draft of book 1. Fingers crossed for a May start!!
