Spotlight On Eternal Sorrows – Day 5 | Spooktacular 2022

I’m having such a blast during this year’s Spooktacular, and I hope you’re having fun, too! Yesterday’s viewing party was awesome, and I just smiled so much getting to chat with the group that was able to be there.

Today, I have another reading for you! We’re talking about a series that I actually started BEFORE I even thought of the idea for Beautiful Demons. Even though the first book in the Eternal Sorrows series did not get published until after Book 6 of the SDS (known as the Peachville High Demons series back then), I actually wrote the rough draft of Death’s Awakening first.

The Eternal Sorrows Series

If you haven’t read this series yet, I hope you’ll give it a chance. I know zombies can sometimes scare people off (haha), but if you love the spirit of my Shadow Demons Saga and are looking for a story that will really pull you in, I’d love for you to download the first book, Death’s Awakening and give it a shot!   2. I’ve read all of the books of the Eternal Sorrow Series, even though I don’t actually like horror stories and creatures (like zombies, vampires, etc) and I’ve enjoyed them all so much!

  6. I cannot watch zombie shows. But this series had me hooked so fast! I’m glad I gave it a chance all those years ago as it is now one of my favorite series! I’ve reread at least 3 times through. Love all of the characters you write sarra!

  23. I really love the eternal sorrows series. I cannot wait for the final book and look forward to another reread of this series when it comes out. It’s pretty rare that I reread books but both shadow demons and eternal sorrows are so great that I love to go through the story again! Love your books!!

  28. I bought the series right after I finished with the SDS series. I enjoyed them, up until the point that the Zombies came in, I quickly found out that reading about Zombies gives me the heeby jeebies. My husband has now acquired the series and it is on his TBR list. I can handle all kinds of other Supernatural beings, but the Zombies pushed me over. :)…This explains why I have never been interested in Zombie shows, never had the desire to watch one, and still haven’t.

  46. I have read all the books of Eternal Sorrows that are published. I was leery of reading about zombies at first, but listening to Sarra describing the books, I decided to give them a try. I was hooked from the first chapter and could not put it down. I got book 2 and then book 3 and can’t wait for the next book in this series. Sarra’s writing hooks me into the story immediately.

Doing what they can to survive and slowly coming into their abilities is awesome and I can’t wait for the next book ( or two ) Hahaha. Eternal Sorrows is actually the first series from you I read, and ironically I got called to the basement at work twice when reading the exact same scene on night shift (can probably guess which one lol). It’s also the series that led me to Beautiful Demons – I’m the oddball who generally prefers zombies to witches, and this series has the best of both.
