Day 10: Let’s Sprint! | Spooktacular 2023

Did you enjoy our day of manifesting yesterday? I always love talking about this subject and it warms my heart to know that it resonates with you as well!

I’ve been looking forward to today’s main event since before Spooktacular began! From 1-3pm EST today, we’re going to gather for reading sprints! What’s that? Well, it’s just a livestream together where we’ll set a timer and read for about 25 minutes on our own and then gather back in the chat for about 5 minutes to chat and hang out, then we’ll read again! For 2 hours!

I’ll be live in the Facebook Group and on my YouTube channel for two hours and I hope you’ll join me in the comments. Let me know what you’re reading and on what format: print book, ebook or audiobook (and which is your favorite?).

I’ll still be going live for our daily livestream at noon EST then hopping right into our sprints very shortly afterwards. Thank you in advance for spending a chunk of your day with me. I’m so excited!

  1. I just started Fate’s Surrender, I’m excited to read it with everyone during the reading sprints! The Haunted House wallpaper party favor it so cute!

  3. I would probably go for a Demons sweater. With the cold weather coming, can never have too many sweaters!!

  7. I am not sure if I’d like to have a sir bean mug or a peachville high shirt (or hoodie).

  9. I would rock the Sir Bean coffee cup! Probably have to get two. One to use while the other is in the wash… 5 minutes is too long with no coffee… just kidding… but I definitely would get two… 1 to use, the other to add to my collection…

  11. I’d be all over a Sir Bean mug or travel mug. But I’d also be all over a t-shirt, full zip hoodie, or ball cap, especially if they were Shadow Demons Saga or Eternal Sorrows related!

I am listening to 2 different audio books…The Mother’s Promise Sally Hepworth, and Don’t You Cry Mary Kubica, I am also reading a physical book from Book of the month…When I’m Dead Hannah Morrissey-which I am enjoying!   39. Since Shadow Demons is what for me into reading all those years ago I’d have to go with the Peachville hoodie! I have a lot of hoodies but that would be my absolute favorite!

  74. I can’t wait to read these short stories. You always talk about how hard it is for you to write them, because the muse wants more. I run into the same problem when reading short stories, my brain can’t understand where the rest of the story is and wants more details 🙂 I will have to have a talk with my brain and tell it to chill so I can read these 🙂

  89. I don’t know exactly what I’d spend the gift card on because every writer needs another mug! Really. (Just like teachers.) I imagine it holding my tea on my desk, and I’ll look down at it when I need that extra boost of encouragement. I’d hear Sarra’s inspiring words. However, writers also require a cozy hoodie to get us through the cold months, long nights, or moments when we feel we can’t form one more sentence. Any of the book Merch, would be appreciated and have a purpose.
